Brandon A. Boyd-
I am a freshman at the University of Washington after graduating from Skyline High School where I was the Sports Editor for “The Forum” newspaper. Just letting you all know what you’re dealing with. From a sports perspective, I am a long time University of Washington football fan having been to every home game since I was two years old. Moving from Section 32 to the student section is a culture shock. Also, Husky Basketball is fun. I’m one of the few Mariners followers still around and an avid supporter of getting the NBA back in Seattle. Fantasy football is far more exciting to me than whatever the Seahawks do. Outside of sports, I am a member of the UW greek system as a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. I love to bust chops and make fun of just about anything. Lord of the Rings > Harry Potter. Follow me on twitter @TheRealBAB, I say nice things.
Michael Stanton-
I am currently a Sophomore at Western Washington University after attending Issaquah High School. Born in Seattle, raised on the Greater Eastside, the sports scene has always been one of my greatest interests. From “The Double” in ’95 to the “Miracle on Montlake” in ’09, I have been in attendance to some of the Emerald city’s greatest sports moments. You can find me perched in section 47 of Husky Stadium almost every Saturday in the Fall, loudly annoying the aging Tyee donors that blanket the seats around us. Some may say Christmas is their favorite day of the year; mine is the first Saturday of September. I’ve witnessed the Kingdome demolition, and two state of the art stadiums rise from it’s ashes. I am an avid fantasy football player and have won my league for two years running (Dynasty?). Sports are my passion and Seattle is my hometown. Why not write about it? So that is what I plan to do. In the words of Bart Scott, “CAN’T WAIT!” Also, check me out on twitter: @stantonmichael.
